This is a Grade II* listed building. The listing includes “Parish church. C12 origins, altered C14 and C15, demolished 1881 and rebuilt 1881 – 5 by Preedy retaining some earlier features.”
There are several clock faces, none of which are working, all of which are somewhat weatherbeaten.
A typical skeleton style for this area, three rings carrying minute and five-minute makers between the outer two and Roman numeral hours between the inner two. All appeared to have been gilded at one time but much has got very worn.
